We are looking for reliable, hard- working individuals to work as a Warehouse Picker/Packer at one of our clients’ warehouse located in Shelby Township. The facility is the leading wholesale-only supplier of law enforcement, military tactical, public safety, homeland security, and shooting sports equipment. For three decades they have been partnering with the best and most in-demand brands to develop successful dealers both online and in-store.

Warehouse Picker/Packer Shift time: 6:30 am-3:30 pm. 

*Associates must be available to work mandatory overtime to ensure orders received by 1:00 pm are shipped out where necessary* Our ideal candidate will be flexible to working overtime, as needed.

Warehouse Picker/Packer Pay Rate: $11/hour.

Warehouse Picker/Packer responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Inbound Warehouse Picker/Packer – Receiving

  • Unpacking items to be stocked on shelves in the warehouse
  • Receiving and counting stock items, and record data using the computer database
  • Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses or other areas
  • Examine shipment contents and compare with records, such as invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy

Outbound Warehouse Picker/Packer – Shipping

  • Picking orders for outbound shipment to be sent out by 1pm daily
  • Accurately checking in and putting away inbound materials daily which includes using a rolling ladder
  • Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for shipping
  • Master knowledge of inventory to be efficient with completing orders

A Qualified Warehouse Picker/Packer will have:

  • Warehouse, inventory or other warehouse or shipping experience, preferred
  • Experience using handheld inventory devices
  • Ability to lift and bend frequently throughout entire shift
  • Ability to master knowledge of inventory
  • Great attendance and attitude
  • Possess the stamina to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to climb ladders and reach merchandise regularly, with reasonable accommodations
