IMPACT Management Services has a client in Auburn Hills seeking a SQL DBA. This is a Direct Hire position. They are looking for someone with a few years of experience that they can train. Our client's DBA’s provide hands-on database maintenance, troubleshooting and monitoring to ensure the health and growth of our SQL Server Databases. This individual will assist in projects pertaining to the administration and support of our database technology, as well as writing complex SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports required by our organization.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Installing, configuring and maintaining multi-node Windows clusters.

• HADR availability group configuration and support.

• Disaster recovery designing and implementation with yearly testing.

• Writing, modifying and publishing complex SSRS reports (2012/2016).

• Ensuring active and effective backup policies.

• Daily maintenance of SQL Agent jobs.

• Writing, editing and optimizing complex T-SQL statements (views, functions and stored procedures) for a large development group.

• Monitoring health and growth of SQL Server Databases.

• Continuous monitoring of database performance and correcting uning where needed.

• Provide 24x7 support for critical production database systems.

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.

• A minimum of 3-3 years’ experience in SQL Server (Versions 2012, 2016 and 2017).

 • Experience writing SQL Server Reporting Services reports (SSRS).

• Experience building reports, score cards and dashboards.

• Exceptional planning and organizational skills.

• Possess a solid understanding of Microsoft technologies.

• Have a strong proven track record of success.

• Basic database design / architecture.

• Strong data management skills.

• Experience with SQL Server in Azure.

• Experience with Idera, Solarwinds or other monitoring tools.

• Experience with Power BI or other visualization tools.

• PowerShell scripting a plus.
