Impact Management Services has a 1st shift Production Coordinator position available in Taylor, MI. This is a Direct Hire position that comes with full benefits. The Production Coordinator will work an average of 45-50 hours per week; Monday-Friday.

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Production Coordinator in our rapidly growing North American operation in Taylor, Michigan.

The Production Coordinator ensures the smooth flow of coffee machine production by maintaining bills of material, and assembly manuals, assisting production staff with diagnosing problems, and coordinating day-to-day production activities.  This position works closely with the local Production Supervisor and Production Team Leader, and reports directly to the Plant Manager.

Job Duties:

  • Assist production testers with a few unusual problems that they can’t easily diagnose
  • Update a bill of material and work instruction due to a new part being used in a machine
  • Create new work instruction for upcoming option for machines
  • Organize machine production schedule for the week, checking in with the Sales Assistant on customer prioritization
  • Review production and quality metrics with the Production Supervisor and brainstorm solutions to bottlenecks or other problems
  • Fill in for a few hours in assembly for an unexpected absence
  • Review 5S status of a workstation
  • Propose change to assembly method based on hands-on experiments and train production workers on the new method


  • At least 5 years of experience in a production environment and have at least a high school degree or equivalent, or 3 years with a higher degree
  • Competence with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical and mechanical problems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
