Job Description

Objective of the Position: Assist Plant Controller with preparing financial information and reports by compiling information, and utilizing appropriate internal accounting control procedures.

Essential Accountabilities: The position incumbent ensures, that

  • Compile financial information and document business transactions.

  • Analyzes data, resolves issues and investigate root cause.

  • Prepare and review expense, and other accounting documents.

  • Prepare reports for management review (BOR, M.O.M, ECE, etc).

  • Reconcile Monolith and Directed Buy pricing, must interpret cost changes to produce an inventory revaluation.

  • Process financial internal control monthly

  • Compile data and prepare a variety of reports.

  • Recommends actions to resolve discrepancies.

  • Investigates questionable data.

Secondary Accountabilities: The position incumbent ensures, that

  • Conduct all business related activities for, and on the behalf of, Eberspaecher within the limits of applicable local, state, and federal legal requirements.
  • Provide support to, and compliance with, all local and corporate Eberspaecher Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and other HSE related requirements.

  • Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and follows all ENA polices related to TS16949 and ISO 14001; looks for way to improve and promote quality.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirement Profile:


Professional Background / Basic Qualification / Work Experience:

  • Bachelors’ degree in Accounting.
  • Minimum two years’ experience working in an accounting role.

  • Ability to travel domestically by car or plane.

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must have advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint skills

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in SAP within six months.  

Technical Expertise:

  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.
  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts and operations, including calculations, percentages, etc.

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and write simple correspondence.
