MIG/TIG Welder - 1st shift in Brighton, MI at Impact Management

Eberspaecher is one of the world's leading developers of exhaust technology, vehicle heaters, and bus air conditioning systems.

**We have over 10 immediate openings for Full-Time MIG and TIG Welders at their Brighton, MI facility**

We have multiple openings for MIG and TIG Welders on 1st  shift! These are DIRECT HIRE positions!

  • 1st Shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm

**These are only the standard shifts and does not include mandatory overtime**

Basic Qualifications for MIG Welder:

  • Work Mandatory Overtime on weekends
  • Must be able to pass weld performance test: No previous work experience needed
  • Has own reliable transportation to and from Brighton, MI daily
  • Has steel toe boots

Objective of MIG and TIG Weld Position:

  • Rework pre-welded assemblies from robotic stations on stainless steel
  • Reworks surface defects such as dings, dents, and buckles in parts by performing the following duties.

Essential Accountabilities of MIG and TIG Welders: 

  • Examines surface of part to determine extent of defect.
  • Fills holes and gaps of defected part by MIG welding area based on specifications.
  • Welds sub-assemblies and/or final assemblies
  • Smooth welded or defected area by TIG welding if required per specification.
  • 100% rework work on parts requires operator sign-off and documentation of all non-conformances.
  • Place re-worked parts on in-process racks to be leak tested.
  • Leak tests component part and rework if needed.
  • Operate robotic weld cells, gauges, leak testers
  • May manually assemble and weld completed parts that have not already been welded from start to end using components parts supplied.
