Job Description

As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, you will be one of the primary ambassadors on behalf of the company to vendors, carriers, and clients. You'll be working with small business clients helping them to manage risk unique to them. As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, your key focus will be coordinating the delivery of exemplary service to our clients. You will live and breathe service, acting as the day-to-day contact for the client when they’re troubleshooting issues or when they need guidance to make decisions that position them for success. You will also be the go-to person for special requests and projects that come up and provide opportunities to really wow our clients.

What you will do:

  • Create a positive client experience on behalf of the Company as the main point of contact for assigned Commercial clients.
  • Advocate for the client in the treatment of their account with Carrier marketing representatives, underwriters, and adjusters.
  • Manage every aspect of each client’s account through service and renewal. Sustain a cohesive team with all members of the department, service and sales.
  • Perform a variety of regular tasks to facilitate a well-organized department.
  • Support the department by completing daily, weekly, and monthly responsibilities in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Demonstrate positive relationship management skills, internally and externally, with effective communication, respect, and integrity.
  • Complete objectives in a timely fashion to avoid any unnecessary interruptions to daily business.
  • Learn and acquire the knowledge needed to be able to meet the expectations for finishing all tasks as they are assigned.

  • High school diploma (bachelors preferred).
  • 3+ years of creating excellent client experiences.
  • Current Property & Casualty Insurance License (preferred).
  • You know your way around Word, PowerPoint and Excel (experience with Applied is a plus).
  • Exceptionally organized with documents, procedures and office work area.
  • Maintain a positive and respectful attitude with colleagues and clients.
  • Takes initiative and can start/complete tasks with basic direction.
  • Data entry skills with ridiculous accuracy and efficiency.
  • Eager to work in a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Energetic and Self-Motivated.
  • Ability to have fun. Sense of humor.
  • Ability to multi-task and organize ongoing projects accurately while looking for ways to become more efficient in completing tasks.
  • Consistently looks for ways to help support the department and improve the department’s overall performance
