Job Description


Assists in the preparation and maintenance of mechanical drawings for the manufacturing and assembling of products by performing the following duties.


  1. Prepares layout drawings for the assembling and manufacturing of the corporation's products.
  2. Collaborates with Mechanical Engineer to determine manufacturing tolerances and specifications.
  3. Prepares orthographic and isometric drawings for use in catalog illustrations and other marketing literature.
  4. Develops fixtures and gages with guidance from the Mechanical Engineer.
  5. Performs other drafting tasks as assigned by the Product Engineer.
  6. Performs other related duties as assigned.


  1. Good oral and written communication.

  3. Ability to read and interpret blue prints with GD&T.
  4. Strong team leadership skills.
  5. Effective problem solving.
  6. Two or more years’ experience with Auto Cad 2010 or later.
  7. Familiarity with AutoCAD Inventor and Solid Modeling
  8. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.)
  9. Self-motived with a positive approach.
  10. Able to work with minimum supervision and capable of self-checking for completeness and accuracy of work produced.
  11. Proficiency with Autodesk preferred but not required.
  12. TubeCAD experience preferred but not required.


  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Minimum of two years manufacturing experience.
