Job Description for Business Development Executive

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for targeting prospect companies to drive new sales. This individual will play a significant role in driving the growth of Impact’s business in the Commercial and Professional Staffing Industry. 

Primary Responsibilities for Business Development Executive 

  • Develop and execute a plan and strategy for lead generation and qualification
  • Develop strong relationships and partnerships with prospects and other industry partners
  • Strategically manage the sales process including proposals, contract rate negotiations and transitioning prospects to clients
  • Meet weekly KPI metrics
  • Work with account management team to ensure a seamless handoff process from prospect to client
  • Become an industry expert to share valuable information with prospects and clients on industry trends and the employment market

Qualifications for Business Development Executives

  • Advanced communication skills; speaks articulately and writes with a polished vocabulary
  • Strong sense of initiative and relationship building
  • High energy and motivation to build relationships with prospective clients
  • Possesses the confidence and charisma to interact with decision makers including HR Professionals, Plant Managers and CEOs
  • Projects a professional image and refined business decorum to clients and prospects
  • Takes pride in being detail oriented and highly organized
  • Sales experience in Commercial or Professional Staffing Preferred but not required
